Turkey Baked Corn: In Tahini Chee Gelatin Recipe

Ingredients

2/3 cup packed light brown sugar

2 tablespoons margarine

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 teaspoons dried basil

3/4 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper flakes

4 (2.5 ounce) cans mixed vegetables, e.g. cabbage, green olives, Greek Delight

2 1/2 cups roasted turkey breast

1 (12 ounce) can whole kernel corn

1 green bell pepper, chopped

1 orange bell pepper, chopped

Directions

In a medium dish, cream together the brown sugar, margarine, vanilla extract, salt and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth; sugars should be drastically reduced. Remove following instructions from package: Beat together flour, nutmeg and basil. Add new dry mixture with flour mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Combine mixing ingredients using a wooden spoon; gradually beat in the pan juices until smooth. Place on narrow baking sheet.

Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven, uncovered, at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), for 45 minutes, or until top is golden brown. During the last 30 minutes of baking, top with the bell pepper and coriander. Serve warm or cold.
