Manhattan Slush Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 tablespoons water

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

2 cups frozen chopped spinach

8 ounces marshmallow creme

2 egg whites

Directions

In a large bowl, butter or margarine, brown sugar, light brown sugar, lemon juice, egg and vanilla. Beat until blended. Stir in water, lemon juice and spinach. Stir into batter. Beat in marshmallow creme and egg whites. Pour into greased 9x13 inch dish. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours or until firm.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Remove from refrigerator. Spread marshmallow creme on top of loaf.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown. Grate lemon zest on top of loaf while baking. Cool completely.
