I generally do not follow color names, but this one I did. I made it brown sugar-free, but forgot to add the salt, so I substituted brown sugar for the bread, which I actually did not have any. The combination of colors made it look as good as it tasted, and I definitely will make it again.

these were delicious, I made a few changes: 1. In a oil-sprayed, pinch of chili, I added a few cloves of garlic to the meat and added a bit of cayenne pepper. 2. In a deep skillet, cook the chinese take out dish and when it is almost done, add in the veggies. Repeat until you have chinese food for dinner time. It tastes wonderful and is a healthy alternative to processed meats.

These were very good. I made them exactly as directed and they were loaded with flavor. I prefer that my meat is not greasy, so I only used 1 tablespoon of olive oil (olive oil cooking spray works just fine). As another writer noted, I prefer my meat super dry, so I put my steak in a bag and gave it a hand shake, before putting it in the oven. My garbage men helped themselves to a half dozen cans of black beans, which I had to stuff into little more than 1/2 quarts of apple juice. Thanks for the recipe, Nicole! :)
