1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried ginger
1 cup chopped onion
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup vegetable oil
Remove marinated fishing line from fish. Place 1 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon dry mustard in the bottom of a shallow shallow dish. In a small bowl, stir together garlic powder, ginger, onion, tomato paste and vegetable oil. Pour mixture over fish.
Allow fish to rest for 20 minutes, then remove from marinade.
As a beginning chef, I always rely on toasted sesame oil. It's a good investment. Awesome packaging design.
