2 large fresh banana halves
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, divided
1 large peeled and sliced onion, sliced
3 1/2 cups banana puree
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon cold water
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Cut each ripe banana into 1/2 inch slices.
In a large resealable plastic bag, add cocoa powder, onion slices, bananas, bananas puree, milk, cold water, oil and food color. Mix just enough to make the slices of bananas stick together. Refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine butter, confectioners' sugar, pecans and eggs. Mix well then pour mixture over frozen banana slices.
