4 apples, peeled and sliced
1 cup honey
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Place apples in a large bowl and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Transfer apples to a jar; seal and place in a plastic bag.
Place apple over a heatproof rimmed 8x8 inch dish or in a large bowl. Fill each apple with 1/2 cup honey and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Using a metal spoon or wooden spoon, mix together. Serve warm.
