1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon dried minced celery
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
2 tablespoons dried Italian-style seasoning
1 pinch dried tarragon
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 cup whole milk
4 ounces deli style pizza sauce
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Brown the beef slices side down. Slice and scoop meat into thin slices.
Place onion, celery, rosemary, thyme, marjoram, Italian-style seasoning, tarragon, cornstarch and whole milk in a small bowl or glass dish. Mix together and pour mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven until beef juices run clear, about 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, add tomato sauce and stirring constantly. Pour half of tomato sauce over meat slices of top and pour a large amount of water over all.
Bake for another 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue baking for 20 minutes.
Remove meat, and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side. Removemeat from oven and drain. Return meat to baking dish. Cover and brush with remaining tomato sauce and remaining brown sugar.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes. Remove pizza from oven and sprinkle with cornstarch. Manually add milk (or use brush) into saucepan to get sauce just adding juice. Bake an additional 10 minutes per side (especially to brown sides). Cool completely.
