1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/48 degrees C)
2 pounds fresh strawberries, sliced
1 tablespoon horseradish
1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
In a large saucepan, place warm water and strawberries. Bring the water to a quick boil; remove from heat and stir in the horseradish, vinegar, lemon juice and dry mustard. Whisk together thoroughly. Place pan in a warm place to boil, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl.
