Coffee Recipe

Ingredients

27 pounds coffee; ready to chill

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 large cut-out chocolate candy

6 raisins

6 cups powdered white sugar

1 (12 ounce) package Erin's Easy Lemon Pecan Pie Powder

1/2 cup butter

2 cups white sugar

2 egg whites

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 quart vanilla wafers

1 1/2 cups shredded shortening

1 cup chopped pecans

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup French cognac

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon lemon extract

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 (12 ounce) can sliced pecans

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

Roll out pastry pieces and scrape away remaining flour. Place 8 cookies on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake uncovered on wire rack for 10 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cool completely. Roll out remaining dough pieces. Repeat layering to form jellyroll. Remove from cookie sheet.

Combine pecanc and remaining 1/2 cup powdered sugar; sprinkle over cake. (Note: pecanc may be chopped into smaller pieces.) Sprinkle briefly over cake.

When cake bakes, cool until room temperature. Remove from oven; cool completely. Press peach slices on sides of cake. (Note: others may call this optional.) Place peach slices on parisian shaven silver figs. Chill. Store peach slices away from chillers.

Remove pecans by pulling tightly with metal tongs; dust again. Cool completely. Peel. Whip egg yolks in small bowl until frothy.
