This is a fabulous dish! It is not just for sweet tooths, but it is also great for a cool fall day. I usually just put chopped parsley chips or walnuts, but I LOVE julienned bell pepper! It is so easy and it is the BEST part of the potato. You can dress it up by putting in small pieces of cod or white fish and then just tossing it all in the water. It is so good that I don't even bother to add the rest of the potatoes, sometimes just a little more water, makes all the difference. I usually only use a little more flour than the recipe calls for, but this is such a great flavor addition! I always make a simple soup and this is a perfect follow up. Thank you!

This was a great recipe. The recipe was easy to make and packed a nice punch. I made it exactly as written and it came out fantastic. I used a 4qt. crockpot and it came out fantastic altho it took me a good 4 hours to finish it. I will definitly try it over fresh green beans.

We used a small cookie dough scoop to drop into the hot dog buns. The first batch we baked and the buns were done in 15 minutes. The second batch we baked and the buns were finished in 25 minutes. The recipe is accurate but needs some tweaking. If you can't find the Whipped Cream, 1 tsp Vanilla and a can of chopped tomatoes. Then you need to add about a tsp of powdered milk to thicken the mixture. Once this is thickened you can add the powdered milk. This is just the kind of recipe we want to keep coming back to. Thank you for sharing.
