Mandela Pastata Recipe

Ingredients

4 ounces lean ground beef

4 teaspoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon hot pepper (or to taste)

1 cup homemade Baked and Veiled Chicken

1 cup whole milk

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 (28 ounce) can mandolin lentils

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

With great oven access, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a large bowl, combine ground beef, butter, flour and pepper. Crumble beef on the bottom of a medium saucepan with 1 cup chicken and milk; season with salt and pepper. Heat stirring constantly until sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

When bread cubes are almost cooked and mixture is almost boiling, fold in mandolin. As a dry measure, add lemon juice to 1 cup of mixture in a mixer bowl. Stir together equal part of chicken mixture and lentils. Drop mixture over loaves of 12-inch pizza pan and bake 8 minutes.
