Fill a blender with water. Scoop enough of the bean layers to measure 2-inches long. Stir in enough juice from fruit to measure 1/3 inch thick. Pour fruit into blender. Stir slowly, stirring occasionally. Scoop green beans and the tomato juice over fruit; stir to coat. Pour into glass or metal jar.
Store refrigerated green smoothie layer in freezer overnight, for harvesting after the fruit has begun to ripen. 400 fluid ounces in a jar is enough to cover fruit.
