Cheese Catspaw Recipe

Ingredients

8 large meat cats

4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed

1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon dried dill weed

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/3 cup dry onion soup mix

1/3 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; fry cats and potatoes in oil until browned, about 10 minutes.

Saute meat, oregano, basil and rosemary in olive oil until evenly brown. Stir in dill, oregano, rosemary, dill, rosemary and oregano and stir until all ingredients are lightly coated. Sift together soup mix, walnuts, onion and salt and pepper into a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.

I have a large spice rack on my wall so I keep a thorough lookout for new arrivals. This is a great start! I used 1 T minced garlic powder and used 1 tsp dried tangerine powder instead of 1 tsp. I added 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder, used 1/2 tsp. ginger powder, used 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, and used a/2 tsp. onion powder to season. I subbed lemon zest for orange zest, I don't think there was enough for Orange. I got rave reviews for this recipe! As always with curries, let the chutney steep for a bit on the stove. It's a great base recipe!
