Coconut Brownies II Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup milk

3 eggs

1 1/4 cups white sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/8 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup corn syrup

1 cup marshmallow creme

1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and milk. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the sugar and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, corn syrup, marshmallow creme, confectioners' sugar, pecans and pecans. Pour mixture into prepared pans.

Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of each brownies comes out clean. Cool completely before removing from pans.

I'm usually not a huge fan of broccoli, but I did try this and thought it was good. My son recently discovered the nutritional value of the cruciferous vegetable, and he requested that I make him these quickly. I would definitely make again--scrumptious!! Thanks for the recipe!
