Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Spread half of mixture over bottom of prepared muffin pan; press remaining mixture over bottom of pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Makes 4 cups of soft, chewy, delicious muffin mix: 1 cup raisins, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, 1 cup chopped pecans, 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
