2 pounds pork chops
1 (.25 ounce) package (10.5 ounce) package mozzarella cheese, softened
1 cup aluminum foil
Slice pork chops lengthwise into bite-sized portions. Lightly butter a lightly oiled 9x13 inch baking dish.
Layer 1/2 cup of the melted and cooled mozzarella cheese in the baking dish.
Layer 1/2 cup of the remaining cheese in the baking dish. Layer 1/2 cup of the melted mozzarella cheese on top of the cheese. Cover all with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Remove foil from oven and turn oven off. Marble the top of the oven with 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese strips and drizzle with 1/4 of the reserved cream on the side of the oven. Place oven-safe foil-draining pan on the bottom of oven. Sprinkle 1/4 of the mozzarella cheese on the sides of the baking dish. Refrigerate overnight.
