Home Style Italian Shrimp Jalis Recipe

Ingredients

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons chicken broth

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 cup lemon-lime flavored Jell-O

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the herbs and garlic and toss until a paste forms, then add the broth, oil, lemon rind and milk. Continue to whisk until desired consistency is reached. Stir in the flour and salt. Puree in the mixture until no lumps remain. Allow sauces to cool. In a small bowl, combine the fat/light brown sauce mixture and the milk/white sauce mixture. Refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
