1 (4 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste. Place in a shallow baking dish.
In a medium bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, butter, sugar, oil and 1 tablespoon sugar. Pour over chicken and sprinkle paprika mixture over chicken.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until juices run clear.
