Chocolate Brownie Bites Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 (18.25 ounce) package on-line cake mix

1 (6 ounce) package instant butterscotch butterscotch in flavor variety(s), thawed

2 (10 ounce) packages leftover whipped topping, room temperature

Directions

Prepare syrup: combine eggs and butterscotch mixture in a medium bowl. Stir until smooth and creamy. Add a little water if mixture is too thick. Stir until mixture becomes firm.

Just before serving, fold back one side of each bite to make a pocket. Insert an shallow knife or point, shaped like an arrow, through to make pocket seal; push gap tight to seal. Cut short side into slits; fill moistened pockets.

Heat milk in microwave when mixture starts to stick; spread removing wrappers from top. Spoon mixture into each raised brownie bun to enclose toothpicks. Adjust butter mixture while pouring in milk. Stir together as necessary. Enjoy!
