1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sliced Swiss cheese
1/2 cup chopped almonds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.
In a large bowl, cream together 1/3 cup butter, milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, sugar, eggs and flour. Beat in baking soda, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in the sliced Swiss cheese and almonds. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto two greased or lightly oiled 9 inch round pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
Very moist and yummy. I used my food processor to chop the veggies.
