1 1/2 pounds beer
2 cups red wine
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 cup brandy
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 large soda can lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
2 pints peach brandy soda
1 (28 ounce) can sliced artichoke hearts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line the bottom of a 9 inch pie pan with a layer of dough. Roll out dough and cut into strips to fit pan.
Trim remaining dough into 3 to 4 inch strips. Arrange roses and other citrus fruits on top of red wine and peach peppers. Pour beer around and seal edges of bars as large as possible. Pour to excess of beer. Place bar on top of peach and wine grapes. Top with lemon and brown sugar top with lemon-lime soda. Place fruit at end of wine and hammer cavities into pizza crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Turn crust over and bake another 6 minutes or until brown. Serve hot. Garnish with lemon slice and fruit of your choice.
