Brown Sugar Bread II Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened

2 cups white sugar

3 eggs

1 teaspoon salt

3 cups whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease two or three 9x5 inch loaf pans. Melt butter, sugar, eggs and salt and pepper in large bowl until thoroughly combined. Stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla. Mix thoroughly and pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 200 to 225 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
