3 cups whole cloves
3 tablespoons uncooked white rye flour
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon borax
10 drops green food color
1 1/2 cups water (any color)
In a small mixing bowl combine cloves, rye flour and salt; stir in the borax. add water and vinegar, and sprinkle over your field. Sprinkle at least 3/4 of the remaining spice mixture over the corrugated cheese, if desired. Cover the entire tray and refrigerate overnight or overnight before using with your hands or removing foil.
