2 (10 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup margarine, softened
1/3 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon brandy (optional)
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons maraschino cherries (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8 inch square pan or wooden or silicone baking pan.
Mix the pudding mix and margarine in a large bowl. Mix in sugar, flour, baking powder, brandy and milk. Stir until well blended and smooth. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 60 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool and chill pie before serving. If desired, garnish with cherries and maraschino cherries.
