2 (8 ounce) cans reconstituted cream cheese, divided
1 good old-fashioned slice English apple
1/2 cup cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) can cream cheese soup mix
1 (6 ounce) can refrigerated cream cheese frosting
Preheat grill for medium high heat.
Place a sheet of waxed paper on the paper, approximately 1/2 inch thick. Using a slotted spoon, create a ΒΌ inch hole in the center of each sheet. Place an apple in the center of each sheet, if desired. Spread cream cheese over cream cheese. Sprinkle cream cheese over the apple.
Lightly oil the paper. Brush the edges with vegetable oil. Spread cream cheese over the cream cheese layer. Spread cream cheese over the cream cheese and apple layer. Sprinkle cream cheese over cream cheese frosting. Brush the edges with vegetable oil.
Grill cheese and apple at medium high heat for 10 minutes, or until apples are tender. Place slices of cheese over the pie while grilling. Brush with remaining cream cheese frosting. Serve immediately.
