5 cups milk
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup milk
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
In a medium saucepan, combine milk, sugar, vanilla, almond extract and milk mixture. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in eggs. Beat in vanilla extract. Blend in sugar mixture. Pour into glass or metal bowls and refrigerate overnight.
For an appetizer, top each serving with a slice of roasted cherry, chopped pecans or a slice of lemon.
