2 cups long-grain white rice
1 cup barley flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dry mustard
4 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix rice, barley flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, oil, and flour. Stir in milk, lemon juice, garlic powder, dry mustard, parsley, celery and onion. Pour mixture into 3 1/2 quart oval loaf pan.
Bake in preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes.
