1 (20 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (16 ounce) package white sugar-sweetened lemon flavored Jell-O mix
1/4 cup boiling water
1 egg
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups instant sugar
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 1/2 cups instant lemon zest
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons lemon zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place cream cheese, sugar and boiling water in a medium bowl. Stir until smooth. Chill until ready to serve.
In a medium bowl, beat egg and lemon zest. Stir pudding mix into egg mixture. Fold in milk, sugar, lemon zest and salt. Pour mixture into 9-inch-square baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 75 minutes.
Remove from oven and brush milk mixture with lemon zest and salt. Sprinkle with butter and sprinkle pudding mixture over cream cheese and lemon mixture. Sprinkle with limes. Bake for an additional 35 minutes.
