1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat grill for high heat.
Melt sour cream and cook over medium heat until well browned. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder; cook until fragrant and vegetables are tender. Stir in onion powder, salt and pepper; cook about 10 minutes. Stir together cheese and sour cream. Transfer to a large bowl. Chill in refrigerator.
Bake the mozzarella cheese about 11 to 13 minutes in the preheated oven before slicing into squares to serve. Place slices on foil lined plates to keep them warm.
It was amazing! I first used in as a layer in a baked Brie (without the avocado). Then used it to top the baked Brie. We also used it on the white bread and it was very nice. The avocado and red pepper were added at the end and they were all gone within minutes of setting them out. I would recommend this recipe to anyone, great to be served as a family dinner or even a nice entertaining dinner. Just to add a reccomendation I served my beefsteak with this recipe and I added a little extra garlic powder and cracked black pepper.
