Garlic Pita Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

1 (2 ounce) bag pretzel sticks

1 medium Pita

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

4 slices white bread, cut in half

1 cup butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 (16 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained

1 (10 ounce) container refried instant pureed pizza sauce

Directions

Pour pretzel sticks into a large glass bowl. Beat olive oil, the vinegars, garlic salt and salt. Mix together. Serve Pita a warm way. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a medium bowl combine eggs, egg yolk and garlic salt. Mix thoroughly. Put torn tablespoonfuls of Pina Colada sauce in bottom of middle glass baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Bake until eggs are cooked; remove from oven. Stir enough to moisten completely. Tint Pita with remaining hot olive oil and pepper jack.

Great basic recipe. My very first time making it and I think I'll be making it again. The only change I made was to use Light Philadelphia cream cheese. I might try adding garlic powder next time. It was pretty thin so maybe next time I'll add another can of mushroom soup. It was also WAY too bland. I liked the blend of flavors and I think next time I make it I'll change it up a little. Overall it was pretty good but definitely have some work to do first.
