4 (1 ounce) slices bacon, diced
1 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tomatoes - diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
1 small egg
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup red wine
2 tablespoons hot sauce, or as prepared
1 sweet onion, sliced
1 small green bell pepper, diced
In a bowl, combine bacon, bread crumbs, tomatoes, green pepper, potato, onion, egg and water. Mix all together and break up any large crumbs. In a separate large bowl, mix the reserved potato and wine.
In a third bowl (potentially the same size as a saucer), combine the three bowls and the onion, egg and water. Stir the remaining potato and wine into this bowl, then spoon the soup over the dip, covering all the inside.
