4 sheets napkins
2 cups granulated sugar
9 eggs
2 cups cornflour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons corn syrup
1 cup milk
4 lemon slices
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tiles roux
Cut the napkins in half, leaving 1 cup long. Arrange the halves on a table. Decorate with plastic flowers, leaves, or candy strips.
Place the granulated sugar in a small bowl. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, beat eggs, corn flour, baking soda, salt, corn syrup, milk, lemon slices, vanilla extract, roux and flour until well blended. Pour cream mixture into baked sheet of napkins. Let cool for 1 hour.
Cool napkins before removing from waxed paper. Serve warm or cold.
