5 or 6 eggs
1 (12 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (2.25 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1 twist of lemon peel
2 cups finely chopped elemi fruits
2 cups sliced almonds
2 cups frozen chopped peaches
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups milk
1 (2 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 cup LAND O LAKES Total Fresh Fruit Syrup (such as Brazil)
1/2 cup coffee liqueur
Place eggs in a large pot and, over medium heat, cook stirring, until completely done. Remove from heat and stir in peach preserves and lemon zest. Set aside. In a separate small bowl, stir together cake mix and liqueur. Beat cake mix using an electric mixer or by hand, or by using a wire whisk. Pour batter into pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
