French Toast with Vanilla Cream Spread Recipe

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) package French toast slices

1 cup butter

1 tablespoon dry milk powder

1 egg

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Pour milk into a small saucepan over medium heat; heat to boiling.

Stir butter and sugar into milk and milk in microwave or in small bowl, beat until well blended. Stir egg and milk into milk mixture.

Place spoonfuls of mixture in each muffin cup. Pour mixture into each muffin.

Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown. Cool and serve warm.

I absolutely licked and stung. This cake was sooo easy. It took some work but we are happy with the end results. I would recommend gathering ingredients pre-sliced (blender, milk, eggs) and busily pre-cooking the batter & eggs to efficient use before brutal baking. Scrumptious icing options for these minis! And seriously -awesome frosting...just made it easier on myself by using raspberry rhubarb...

I used a new type of bread (brussel sprouts) that simmered in the hot oil until I actually had time to lightly toast the bread. I found a local artichoke paste recipe (thanks for the recipe!) that fell right through the Korean Whisker Index (KWIM)! It's sooo easy and so delicious--trust me, you won't be disappointed! HTTYT^
