Dapple Pie VIII Recipe

Ingredients

1 (2 ounce) package cream cheese frosting

1 (8 ounce) package phyllo dough

1 3/4 cups milk

3 tablespoons apple juice

1 teaspoon peach preserves

1 teaspoon maraschino cherry preserves

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, 0.2 teaspoon peach preserves, 1 teaspoon maraschino cherry preserves and apple juice. Mix well. Place into pie crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until bubbly. Cool before serving.

I added a 8oz can of diced tomatoes with green chilies, black pepper and cayenne. This is our family's recipie now. Wow, that is a lot of pie! My husband is still baffled as to why I didn't lower the sugar or honey. I have a very low sugar tolerance so no problem. I have even reduced the orange parts of the tomatoes which was not clear to me. I may try it with other fruits too. loved it and such changes.. Thanks!
