This was a great recipe for vegans but not much of a fan of veggies either. I didn't have any toast (Vegan) and so my husband didn't really care for either. About halfway through cooking the longest recorded cake (28 mins), I broiled it tweaking the temp to 320 from the snap sight. This made the cake perfect texture and nice and crusty. I think I would have liked it more without the extra spices so Experiment 1 was probably better.
