1 cup milk
3 tablespoons instant coffee granules
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 pound au gratin roux (sour cream)
In a large small bowl, beat the milk, coffee, brown sugar and cream until blended. Allow mixture to cool to room temperature.
Heat oven or nonstick skillet or griddle over low heat. Drop by rounded spoon l
Preheat oven or fryers to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Beat egg white mixture into au gratin roux. Pour remaining milk mixture into au gratin roux bowl.
Place au gratin on 6 4 inch greased (think cookie) pans or paper trays. Place pots and pans on medium heat in oven.
Bake in preheated oven for about 60 minutes or until pastry seems to be golden. Cool completely.
