3 pounds medium cut beef
8 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
8 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, cut into 1-inch slices
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 cup water
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
cooked onion
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup lamb stock
5 teaspoons salt
1 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon white vinegar
Grill beef over medium heat for 20 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Schweize the onion and garlic in 1/4-inch slices boiled for 3 minutes.
Stir in sugar, water, bread flour, salt, flour, sugar, and water. Place beef in a slow cooker. Stir all together, and arrange in slow cooker.
In a small saucepan, combine broth, salt, ketchup, vinegar, vinegar and brown sugar. Bring to a slow-cooker boil.
Slowly cook beef, stirring occasionally, for the approximately half hour in the slow cooker, until steak is steaming, and is no longer pink.
