1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 (10 ounce) container sharp processed American cheese, cubed
1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1 1/2 cups fresh mushrooms, drained
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 (6 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms
3/4 cup marinated bacon
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and saute until translucent. Remove from heat and stir in cheese. Once cheese is melted add mushrooms, mushrooms and oil. Stirring thoroughly, cook until cheese is melted. Stir in bacon. Mix well and cook until brown. Remove from heat and pour mixture over steaks.
