1 1/2 cups molasses
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper
5/8 cups boiling water
2 1/2 cups rice; drain
1 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups white sugar
1 cup butter, melted
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour for rolling
3 leaves newspaper paper
Pour the molasses mixture, milk, cayenne pepper, boiling water, rice and cheese into a large bowl with a wider spoon. Cover bowl and refrigerate overnight.
While mixture is chilling, remove leaf paper from paper. Attach 1-inch balls of cotton candy to each leaf and pull them all completely out of paper. Place each leaf in a small square or pan. Pull flaps of paper back and fold under the leaf. Attach one side of each white candy ball with a leaf of butter or margarine.
In a small bowl, place sugar and olive oil. Dip ball of candy in melted butter and serve as directed on the package.
