1 (4 pound) loaf Bavarian style wheat bread
1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup molasses
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 3/4 cups milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Preheat oven to 500 degrees F (150 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Beat butter or margarine in a large bowl. Blend in molasses, eggs and salt. In a separate medium bowl, whisk milk and milk mixture together. Pour into baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.
