Kielbasa and Potato Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

12 ounces kielbasa sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces

8 (10 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup

6 (6 ounce) cans sliced potatoes

2 eggs

1 cup water

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 cup ketchup

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 2 2 1/2 quart casserole dish.

Place kielbasa sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown; drain. Remove from skillet and crumble. Drain sausage and crumble.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine tomato soup, potatoes, eggs, water, salt, pepper and ketchup. Mix well.

Place the sausage and potatoes into the bottom of the casserole dish. Spread melted cheese over the sausage and potatoes. Cover dish and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is golden brown. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue baking 30 minutes. Remove from baking dish and crumble the cheese. Serve immediately.

This was really good! I followed the recipe exactly and my husband loved it. I only let him have one piece of bread so far but he said that was too bad because he said it tasted like bread. I will give him another chance when I make the full recipe.
