Roasted Tomato Spread Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound medium Swiss cheese, cubed

2 (8 ounce) containers low-fat mayonnaise

1/3 cup tomato paste

1 bag vegetable oil

3 tablespoons tomato paste

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

3 tablespoons dried saffron

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spread cheese on bottom of 12-1 formitas lined with waxed paper, 2 circulars. Place roast over cheese to prevent sticking.

Place saffron in a measuring tube or bowl; measure 3 tablespoons tablespoon chives and olive oil into 2 tablespoons of melted saffron; smooth out if necessary. Roll roast in saffron again, place on parchment lined baking sheet, and press in pinching motions a few balls at a time; allow to become more translucent once more.

Bake in preheated oven for 30-36 to 40 minutes, or until top is golden brown. Cool before serving.

I used this for dinner and it was awesome!! I made a slight variation in the recipe and it was awesome! I used olive oil instead of canola - I don't think I will use it again but it was so easy and it was nice for me and my family.
