2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cottage cheese
1 (6 ounce) container sour cream
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 pound Hungarian-style processed cheese food, sliced
Combine cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream. Lay each half of cheese in one large circle on a large baking sheet. Spread pie with egg over cream cheese while covering with foil.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 1 hour or until bubbly and bubbly.
Remove cheese from oven. Place on serving platter and sprinkle with sour cream, if desired. Cut lengthwise in half and serve with whipped cream cheese frosting.
