1 (7 ounce) can evaporated milk
3 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon butter
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon milk
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, mix the evaporated milk, molasses, brown sugar, butter, milk, flour, vanilla and 1/2 cup butter until smooth. Stir in the white sugar, eggs, vanilla and milk. Drop by a spoonfuls onto the cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
