Marmoset Squares Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine

1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon light rum

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup milk

1 pound semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine and brown sugar until light brown. Mix in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the rum and vanilla. Mix in the milk, gradually pouring into the creamed mixture. Mix in the chocolate chips.

Place individual squares onto ungreased cookie sheets. Roll and fold cookies to fit about 3/4 inch thick. Place 1 to 2 inches apart onto the cookie sheets.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to cool completely.
