Sandwiches II Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 large onion, chopped

1/2 cup sliced green onions

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Directions

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Remove from pan, drain and set aside.

Whisk together the onion, carrot, celery, green onions, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly. Spread beef mixture into a large plastic bag or container.

Place bag in a plastic container lined with metal foil. Wrap metal foil around beef mixture and seal tightly.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Fry burgers in oil until golden, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, remove foil and set aside.

Fry onion and carrot in oil spray until golden, about 5 minutes. Remove celery and carrot from meat mixture. Stir carrot mixture into brown sugar mixture, mixing thoroughly. Cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
