4 slices bacon
2 onions, thinly sliced
2 large carrots
1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons dried minced green onions
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash dried basil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 pinch paprika
Place bacon in a large, heavy skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
Place onions and carrots on a large plate. Stir in salt, minced green onions, basil, garlic, and paprika. Pour mixture over bacon. Serve cold.
