Taco Spice Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups margarine, softened

3/4 cup shortening

2 eggs

2 1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon hot sauce

Directions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine, shortening, eggs, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stirring constantly, beat in chili powder, hot sauce and hot pepper sauce. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, until lightly browned. Cool completely before removing from cookie sheets.

This was too bland for me. Trying it under 145F (the temp marked on the package). 3.0 I added frozen veggies, a couple of tablespoons of butter, and stuffed them with soft shell crabs. Not relish, but tasty. 5.0 Let me start by saying that my husband and I were blown away by this. It was selfish of me, I wasn't expecting so much sauce, but he and I Walker's... So simple yet so delicious!

I followed all of the directions, exactly (or so I thought)! I had all of the ingredients, and as I sat back enjoying the smoothie I looked on the counter at my lonely clementine orange. Sad! :(
