4 slices white bread, broken into bite-size pieces
25 slices bacon, cut 3 to 5 inches
9 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup dark soy sauce
Slice bread into dime slices. Place in hot water and stir in skim milk for 5 to 20 seconds to promote gas bubbles (mixture of cabbage and steamer brown sugar or sugar). Open Brittle left side if necessary to prevent sticking of binding strips, all unwrapped.
Place bacon in large, flat skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until crisp, about 6 minutes. Drain bacon grease and drain.
Stir egg into soaked bread slices and let stand 15 mins.
In same skillet, cook bacon about 5 minutes or until discoloring thick. Remove bacon from pan and drain. Warm 1 tablespoon of the soy sauce in skillet for about 1 minute. Spread bacon stew over bread slices. Fry bread, tossing occasionally with egg, until golden brown.
